Member and Host Responsiblities
Member and Host Responsibilities
To facilitate the administration of the group, members are elected to the
Board of Directors, who then make most of the operation decisions for the
organization.
We are a group that gets together to become friends, to provide fellowship,
support, companionship and to share the enjoyment of camping with
friends. We also have member sponsored social activities during the off
season.
You must be a member to enjoy the benefits of the group. You are welcome
to join us once before becoming a member and continuing to camp with us.
To become a member complete the Camping Singles Member Information
Application Form and pay the annual dues. Our website is camping
singles.org. Go to the JOIN page.
All dues directly support group campouts, social functions, the website and
marketing materials.
MEMBERS RESPONSIBILITIES
Each member is responsible for themselves. They must provide their own
transportation, equipment, food and other needed items for each activity.
Camping Singles, will not be responsible for any bills, fines, or rescue costs
that a member may accrue while participating in any of the group’s
activities.
Members make their own individual reservations for our campouts except
for group campsites which are reserved by the club. All members camping
with our group take full responsibility for the area or site where they are
camping. They are responsible for themselves and any guests or animals
that may be staying in the campsite or camping area.It is each member’s responsibility to know and abide by all applicable
national, state, county, district, city, and property owner rules and
regulations.Camping Singles accepts no responsibility for the personal
actions of any member.
HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
Host are members of Camping Singles and will follow all members
responsibilities.
There are few hosting requests that are available to aid you in your quest.
Keep in mind none of these are required but would very much appreciate
your cooperation.
1. There is a host letter on the Camping Singles web page. This letter can
be used to inform your group of the activities you have planned. Please
feel free to use this or create your own. It is located on the Schedule page.
2. It would be nice if photos of group activities can be captured. It doesn’t
necessarily need to be the host but maybe someone in the group wants to
take photos. Please send any photos to campingsingles2@gmail.com with
campout info. Also make sure everyone wants to be photographed. These
photos will only be used for Camping Singles newsletter and website.
3. The newsletter staff and vice chair would like to get a list of attendees
of your campout. Please send information to campingsingles2@gmail.com.
Label them with the campout name. This will help promote a positive image
of members to participate in other campouts. Data will be used in the
newsletter and for the survey.
4. A survey based on the current campout will be sent to the attendees.
This survey is designed to gather insights on customer satisfaction
regarding the campouts. Responses will be treated confidentially.
NOTE: The survey will be sent out by the Vice Chair not the HOST.
5. Display a Camping Singles poster in your vehicle or by designated meeting place at campouts. This will help promote a positive image of our campouts. Other singles may be interested in finding a camping group.Remember “Camping is more fun with friends.” To printout a poster go to
